Omnia's powerful processor makes it possible to utilise the full speed of the connected drive. Omnia includes direct support for virtual servers. These behave like other LAN-connected computers, allowing you to run one of the many supported Linux distributions on them. With Omnia you can use a USB or miniPCIe LTE modem (Omnia offers a SIM card slot when not directly in the modem) to create a backup connection to be activated when the main connection is unavailable. If you have a fiber optic connection to the home (FTTH, Fiber to the Home), you can connect without any additional device (just insert the correct SFP module).
